Ok, I am a big fan of craigslist and came upon this listing.

When you send an email to the id # at the top, Rachel will contact you with directions. Her father that had the collection passed in January, and they have tried to keep the collection going, but some are not doing very well. There are a couple that need extreme nursing to bring back, but there are some good compots and seedlings. They even have a couple of flasks (but I do not know the names).

Rachel seems more interested in the plants going so that they will be taken care of. The mother has distorted views of value. The compots seemed to be an issue with the mother because she thinks that she should get ~$10 per seedling in the pot. Her late husband used to raise and sell some, and she remembers some selling for hundred or thousands of dollars so she believes that they all should get that.

Let me know if you go and get anything. I did not take any of the pictures, it is what Rachael sent to me.

Hah, what a coincidence... just noticed this thread. This is where I got the orchids that I listed in my free orchids thread. I purchased all their dendrobiums and mounted/hanging orchids as well as a few of their phals. I'm pretty sure I overspent because the mother was pretty happy with the money I gave them.

Well... now I know who else is searching craig's list for orchids!

Looks like you have to choose a city. Click on the Craig's list Logo, then choose a city,or state first, then you can go to log on and there will be an option for signing up. I signed up for Prescott. Haven't looked any further than this yet.

Craigslist deletes entries after a week or two... it's been 2 months since Jay posted this thread so that craigslist "thread" is long gone. Here's a link to their most recent craigslist thread...which will be deleted in a few days.

After I purchased orchids from them 2-3 weeks ago they still had quite a few paphs and phals left.
