Orchid Seed Wanted (Australia)

I am looking for any type of orchid seed to use as test species for some tissue culture research I have been doing. I would prefer seed that you can provide complete description of the parentage so I can document the results but will accept any seed available. I am happy to pay for the seed and or can provide a few flasks to the supplier of the seed if I am successful in getting their seed to germinate. Australian persons only at this stage to avoid permits and all the paper work.

I also wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone. I am a plant biologist with a background mostly in plant Tissue Culture. At the request/begging of a local orchid society member I tried my hand at orchid Tissue Culture from seed about 12 months ago. Since then I have worked on roughly 15 mostly native australian orchid Species. I have been trying to perfect a method of storage that allows a protocorm to be stored in an artificial coating for long periods and then be grown into full plants as required in flasks or possibly straight into a potting medium without the long wait you get when germinating seed.

Hi I think I read something about something like that, and I will try to give you a little information!! It is not exactly what you are talking about, but it is just suspending the growth of the seedling plants!! I will send you a message later on!!
