Garfield Park Conservatory Photos

This was a vanda in a tree that finally bloomed, it smells great can't remember what it was though.


This was darwinara something twinkle or something like that, I know it was Twinkle though


This is Habanera medusa, here is the base and tag

I can't remember what this one was. I think it might be Dove orchid I think Jenny knows.

Each one of these is stunning. I always think I've narrowed my selection down to just a select few.....dozen and then I see pics like these and.....HA! Who am I kidding!!!

How beautiful!! The Habeneria medusa, is sooo cool! How big was this plant? Your pictures are fantastic!

Patticake~ The Habenaria probably stood about a foot and a half, spike and all.

No, unfortunately, this was here in Indianapolis on the south side. But I will be going on the 27th to Oak Hill and somewhere else (can't remember) I am definitely taking my camera! Our society is taking a field trip, I can't wait!

Its all about the macro function and the mega pixels, lol! I had a hard time with my last camera, it didn't have a macro function and was 3 megapixels. I was blown away the first time I used this camera!
