My Aspasia lunata finally bloomed!!

My Aspasia lunata finally bloomed! I'm so excited! I know that Sandra's bloomed first, but her conditions were much better for this little guy.... I love the bloom- It's so tiny, but very sweet... I'm so glad that I got this little sweetheart.

Beautiful flowers Patti. No 'but's', no competition to see who could get theirs to bloom first. This is my first species and I'm hoping to learn from you and everyone else all the differences between them and hybrids and so far, I still haven't a clue , but, eventually..... Anyway, your plant looks beautiful and, very familiar!

Congratulations on your great growing. How are you growing this again? Lights? Medium? Watering how often? Feeding?, etc., etc.

Sandra, I'm growing it in Schultzes orchid mix.. I water it every day with a spray-bottle. It gets dappled sun thru-out the day. I use tap water, and once a week - worm tea. I 'm so happy it's happy!
I know that yours is doing great... How long do the blossoms last? Mine has just opened it's first bloom. There's another one about to open. (a few more buds, too!) I just wondered how long I would have these sweet blooms around!

Pretty pretty pretty. Does it grow a single bloom like that? I think it's cute too.

Patti, they're still as fresh looking as when they first bloomed. No wilting whatsoever yet.

Solay, It grows a bloom out of each side of the pseudobulb.- I think Sandras has more than one out of each side!
Sandra, How is yours doing.. -count-wise

Good growing, it is really pretty.

Nature has formed orchid flowers in such a way that, unless they make us laugh, they surely excite our greatest admiration." Jacob Breynius

Still only the 2 flowers and loaded with buds. It just stalled on me and not sure why but I'm not all that concerned. The buds are about to open.

You folks are the best!
Patlee- small is the word! The blooms are about an inch and a half in diameter. The whole plant is about 6" each way. I love it.!
