pics. of my Aspasia lunata

Here's one picture... I couldn't get the other one to attach. This afternoon when I went to check it- there was one on another bulb doing the same thing! It's kind of hard to make out, but it's the dark point in the center of the picture.
I'm growing it in Schultz's mix with a little sphag. mixed in. It's in a south window back about 10 inches. Of course the light in my south window, and the light in Florida's south window are a bit different. I put some styrofoam peanuts in the bottom for drainage. (aka ghost - poop) I water it every morning with a misting bottle. sometimes I throw in a little worm tea. I'm excited!

Sandra, Do you think that it's a bloom? I don't see what else it could be. It's just green and pointed. There are 3 all-together now.! Each one is on the pseudobulb that's at the end of each growth. This is cool- I wasn't too sure about this plant at first, because it didn't show signs of any new growth - roots-nuttin! I guess it was just thinking about it!

patticake, I'm not quite sure I'm seeing what you're looking at. Is there an inflorescence growing? I know on my Encyclia Green Hornet, the buds appeared in clusters before the inflorescence started gaining speed so, that might be what to expect with this one as well, don't know though?

Can you take some more pics? I'm too excited here.

Again, "ghost poop"....what a crack up!

It looks like a spike, but can't really tell. Could it be another leaf?

Optimistic me says it's a spike.

It's thick and shiny-light green. I'll try to take another picture when I get home from work today. If it's a bud, it's coming at the right time! My father in law is very sick, and I just found out last night that one of my co-workers died in her sleep. Work today is going to be hard. I'm glad I'll have my little plant to think about.-
