Received hybrid growing project orchids!

I'm going to try keeping a log about the orchid for the hybrid growing project as well as the others I received from Jerry on April 10th:

Den Cathy Beck
Enc. Atronecium 'Mother's Day' x Enc. cordigera 'Chocolate Violets'
Blc. Chia Lin 'New City'
Slc India Rose Sherwood 'Red Face'
Den Red Emperor 'Prince'

I am very new to orchid growing and have never owned any 'chids but rescued phals and a rescued oncidium. Not all have survived my care.

Thus far I have bought a couple more CFL lights, re-arranged plants on my plant shelf (some non-orchids got the heave-ho), and bought a few small clay pots for re-potting. I'm soaking some orchid mix and hope to tackle re-potting a few of these orchids tomorrow. I also ordered new filters and plan to start using a cool mist humidifier we had in our basement.

I'll try to remember to take some before and after photos. I also need to make a couple of labels for the plants that weren't labeled before I forget what I have.
