| kktvba: Looks like we have the same taste in orchids. I already had an Oriental Smiles, but ordered the others, same choices as yours. The little Rodrumnia is so adorable. Are you going to leave yours in the current potting media? I can't figure out if it's charcoal or lava rock. |

| Kevin: thanks for the correction. I was just so excited with the flowers and did pay attention to the tags that much. Sharyn: it looked like charcoal to me. I separated the two plants and repotted them in mix of sphag and charcoal. The Daiquiri lost all flowers a couple days after arrival. Flowers from the other plant (that came in the same pot) are blooming beautifully. Kathie |

| Your first photo of the Rdcm is a good example of secondary flowering. The shorter spike had flowers earlier which were cut just below the dying flowers. The spike then branched from another node and set more flowers. It is fun to watch the action.
