| Well, there's no tag on it. I went and looked at photos-horticultural website and it looks exactly like the Phalaenopsis 'Brother John' picture, just a different color. So...I think that's what I have. I'll have to bring my digital camera in on Monday and take a picture of it to show you guys.
As for the humidity in the office...I would say it's very low. There are lots of big open windows around, with lots of natural light...but my cubicle is not so close to them. You could say my orchid gets more direct flourescent light. I'm located in Burbank, California. This may seem like a silly question...but you mentioned a cause of bud blast as being low humidity...and well, there's really very little humidity. Would it be better to take my orchid home and keep it somewhere, like the bathroom? Do orchids like humidity? Is it good for them? Perhaps I should get a book... But in the meantime, I really appreciate all the help and suggestions you've given me. Thank you so much. I'm open to any more advice you may have! Oh! And thanks for sharing the skewering thread! |
