Bill - If I remember to give the node culture a go this spring I'll log the progress if anything of interest happens and let you know. One of the keys (as in just about anything related to orchids) is TIME. It will take a long time to get a viable flowering plant from this method. Based on my single experience of removing a keiki from a spike and getting that to flower, I'm guessing it will take about three years to accomplish the same process - at least in my less than ideal conditions. mike
