Mike, thanks for the link!! This technique is very interesting and I imagine some of the experienced Geeks will attempt this form of growth culture. I might try it myself but I'm a bit ham-fisted. As you said, some really cool stuff. If Lotte and Thomas ever discover how to propagate all orchid species by the bark method then maybe the in vitro system will become defunct.
The node culture in soil seems too good to be true, but the pics speak for themselves. However, would one expect to see roots develope on the the seedling? At what point would the seedling be trasferred to normal orchid medium, etc.? Lots to think about. Bill
