| It was me and Cynthia. I have given up on neem entirely for my orchids. It could possibly be from a pesticide. I have a Phal that decided to grow 2 leaves at one time, and the leaves got stuck and popped out of the side of the crown, and when I finally released them (the consensus had been it was a spike), they ripped through the side of the crown, and are forming a new crown (strange I know). Anywho, the biggest leaf of this newly formed crown is coming with spots similar to yours, only they are more whitish. They do not go all the way through though. I am chalking it up to being stuck, and/or water/pesticide getting in there, as I did treat this one with Bayer advanced for some centipedes that arrived with it. My other thought is sometimes these things happen, and I would not necessarily start freaking out about virus. If you really want to checking for virus is relatively inexpensive, but I personally wouldn't worry about. I would water and repot it separately from everyone elso though just to be safe.
