I have a few paphs hat have grown similar leaves, one of them, a exhibition-type paph has nearly all of their leaves like that. I believe it could be caused by a couple of different things: 1) genetics - I see this type of leaf in the more complex hybrids from time to time and as I said above I have one complex hybrid with all of its leaves like that; 2) some kind of cultural shock or condition - I have some paphs that either had a leaf like that as the last leaf it grew or grew a leaf like that as the first one it grew when I got it, which proceeded ot grow normal leaves after that.

Either way, and as you can see from the pics above, these odd leaves don't seem to be symptomatic of a condition that prevents the plant from continuing to grow and flower so I have never felt compelled to identify the precise cause. My current thinking is that it is most likely a harmless genetic quirk.
