I am in Michigan. The type is white butterfly orchid. I was told it's the easiest to grow among all the orchids. Sigh.. (sorry, I am not authorized to post url yet)
Till now, I've having it for about 2 months. It had 12 big flowers. Most flowers bloomed for more than 1 month. Now, only 4 left. I lost 3 buds in the first couple of weeks. One leaf turned yellow and I cut it about 1 month ago. Another leaf got the same problem and I cut it yesterday.
I re-potted twice (I know I shouldn't have done this so often). After the 2nd re-potting, lots of roots turned soft and bad.
(( I don't know what can i do now. I dare not water it. Dare not re-potting it. Any suggestions? Can I still save it's life?
