Hi, Okianer! Yes, my town is on the Hudson river. It was discovered by Henry Hudson who was in the ship, the Halfmoon. Hence the name. Discovered is an odd word, because there were native Americans already living here at the time.
I love your latest Hybiscus shots! They are so pretty! I'll have to get a shot of my Mothers' plant soon. It's a pretty orange double. Mine all died when my house froze a year and a half ago.
We can't grow them outside year-round. Our winters get to -20F sometimes.(about -8C)
