Hello and welcome to the forum!

The baby plants are called a keiki, which in Hawaiian actually means baby. It would help to know what kind of orchid you are talking about. I imagine it is either a Phalaenopsis or a Dendrobium. Verify this before taking any actions.

Once the roots on the keiki reach 2-3 inches long you can gently "pop" it off of the mother plant and put it in its own pot.
