Had a pandorata years ago. No leaf drop, as Brooke says, and didn't do anything about a dormancy, but used to let everything back in those days get a bit dry before watering, all year long. Makes me think that the source may have been mixed up as to what orchid they were talking about. I have one now that is finally doing well after I stopped spraying it with that bad neem oil. Actually, this is the second recent pandorata, as the first one was killed outright by the neem oil.
