Thanks for the info, Greenhouse Gal-

I've only done hybridizing with African Violets, Streptocarpus, and Zygo-cactus. I go by what's in nature, like humans,... animals,... and plants.! I know that when I was expecting my twin daughters 20 years ago, I was beyond huge! (they were 7 pounds each, at birth, and are now 5'7" each, as adults. I was HUGE with my son, and he is now 6' 2" tall, 260 lbs.)
With African Violets, the seed pod was almost always the same size.(but not always the same shape) The blooms are usually the same size, however.-or close-
With orchids, I have to say that I have NO experience, but think that there is a reason for an extremely large pod on a small blossomed parent.
My pods are much smaller and shorter than Exasperatus2002's are, but his mother plant is SOOOO tiny! My pod parent is small, but the pollen parent isn't big either. His pollen parent is big and fluffy!!
We'll see what happens... It's so interesting to see how nature takes over.
It's just a feeling that I have-
