Smile I'm new and need help!

Hello everyone!
From all the threads I've been reading I'm confident you guys can help me out!
I'm new to orchid care and received a Phal. (or at least I think it is) as a gift about 2 months ago.. It was doing fine for several weeks but then I unfortunately listened to poor advice and put it in direct full sunlight in the North Carolina summer. It has since lost most of it's flowers, several leaves have turned yellow/brown and a couple fell off and now the flowers that are left have brown spots on them (it really looks like they're just burned).
I have since brought it inside but I'm not sure how to get it back to it's old self. I've been reading about mounting - would this be a good idea to do now or should I help restore the plant first? The stem is NOT damaged or changing color, the roots look fine so I'm confident it will survive if I get the right advice!
Thanks so much! Look forward to learning more from all of you!
