Question New to This forum and seeking Help!!

Hello to everyone
I'm not sure what type of Orchid I have and I have attached a few photo's so as to show what I'm asking about, it has been flowering for 5 months and I am based in the UK (but don't hold that against me). My Orchid seems to have produced babies (there must be a technical term), as roots have appeared at the top of the stem. Can anybody tell me whether I should remove them and pot them up, or bend them down to a pot whilst still attached to the Mother plant. Thanking you in advance for any assistance you can give me
Regards
Kevin
