I had read this, too. I tried it with some bright yellow cups. I also have the yellow sticky cards. I got several on the sticky paper, but not ONE went on the cups. I left the cups there for 3 weeks, and not ONE! I don't know if they just didn't happen to land there, or if it wasn't sticky enough to hold them. I think it was the latter.
I used plenty of vaseline, too!
