That will be the one I should have asked 2 months ago about my other Onc that I keep at work. Two shrivelled bulbs that put out 2 new shoots that also eventually shrivelled, I took a week off and when I came back I found yellowed leaves on the new and an inch of standing water. 'I gave it a bit of water' said my collegue.
Investigation showed soggy peaty compost under a nice coarse bark top dressing, a horrible smell of rot and no live roots left in the compost.
It's now sat on top of new medium running on only seven 1/2" long roots and pushing yet another new shoot out. Determined to survive I guess.
