Oncidium leaf markings

HI all
This is my first post so please excuse me if it's a stupid question.

I just bought a nameless Onc disguised as a Cambria that has just finished flowering for pennies.
It has a single large leaf out of the main bulb with other smaller ones around the bulb base . All with what looks like venetian blind ridges accross the leaf. Should I be worried? It's putting out a new bulb shoot from the base

Also the leaf tips have black / brown spots on them can I / should I cut these off?

Slightly off topic I also have a 2 bulb Cymbidum that is throwing shoots (3) from the most recent bulb. It's roots are are attempting to burst the pot as their shapes can be seen clearly through the opaque plastic. Should I repot?

Thanks

Dave H
