remember, if you get 10 orchid people in a room and ask them a question, you will get 11 different answers.
and all the answers might be right; and they all might be wrong. you simply have to watch your plants and see how they grow in *your* conditions. i live in a house with forced air heat--and most of my plants do fine and rebloom. if i can do it, you can too.
just enjoy your plants and they will tell you what they need over time.
