I think it was like $15 bucks for both, but I think I'm going to have to keep a good eye on them, after all they were marked down for good reason.
I had such a great day today and so much to say. And Lots of pictures!!!
I took the sedieria japonica back to Leon at hoosier orchids on Saturday. After taking it out of the pot and checking out the roots he decided it was definitely slug damage. SO he gave me a new one, slug free so here is that picture!
And now the new orchids!!!!! This is the Phal Magic Kiss. It has plenty of leaves and some nice root growth goin on. But some of the roots that looked to be newer had rotted and were
mooshy, so I cut them off, they were bad! Also the spot by the steak had began t dry up but the other guy at hoosier orchids said I should go ahead and cut it out.
The inflorescence was broken when I got it so I just took it off so Here is what the flowers look like

This one also had some great root growth goin on but some leaves had been removed and there is a spot that I need to watch for rot because of that. There was a spot that was like a little hole. I took it to hoosier orchids with me and they sprayed it with physan for me. It started foaming a lot, I may need to get some physan of my own now!

I had moved the new ones under the lights temporarily just take some quick pictures then moved them over by the eastern window to quarantine them.
And I took my son to the Conservatory and Sunken Gardens at Garfield Park here in Indy today to take some pictures for my mom and grandma for mothers day presents. My son Rowan, three years old, said "mommy I want that phal-a-lopis in my picture and that one too!" I was gonna throw that picture in too but it is too large to attatch. lol, I'm about a;; pictured out for today!
