There are many nurserys such as Oak Hill. I've found many on-line by googleing. New World is awesome, although a little pricey. Carter and Holmes has some great plants, too. If you like Paphiopedilums, Piping Rock orchids are great! There are MANY places.
Our own Jerry Meola carries LOTS of plants, and is very fair in price.
Glad to have you with us!

I like the book Orchids for Dummies. There are tons of books on Amazon, in book stores, and the library. "Dummies" is a great book to start with- It explains all the abrs. etc.- I started with one plant, and read all about it. When I didn't kill it, I did the same with another, etc.. Different varieties and species, require different conditions. Learn one at a time, and you won't be so overwhelmed.
