| 2 new chids!
I know shame on me for not posting pictures yet. I went to lowes in search of markdown's. They had huge vandas that were very crispy but wouldn't mark them down ;-( So I got two more phals $7 a piece, one is labeled as Magic Kiss and the blooms had been broken off. The other one is Long Pride Snow Crane. I have tried to search online for these to no such luck! Any ways the Long Pride Snow Crane had a lot of good roots and unopened blooms. It was potted in coconut husk that lookd and smelled like it was rotting. SO some of the roots that were good probably a few days ago are now mushy. They have been removed. Where it was steaked was right up against a leaf so that edge all nasty and mushy. SHould I remove the whole leaf r just the bad spot? There are 9 leaves on it. The magic kiss's roots were much better from what I can tell through the pot and digging a bit. tomorrow I will repot and post pictures. |
