| Flowerchild, I wish I could give you advice but can't since this is my first too. The seller from e-bay sent the follow message to me after I inquired about how to care for it.
"Keep the base of the plant moist most of the time in the blooming stage. You can also fertilize every week. Try not to water on the blooms, so they will last longer. Shady or bright light is OK, Temperature warm is good, around 70-80F degrees is best."
Nothing about mounting but he/she had it mounted on a little branch of some thing at first. I think because of the way the leaves are flat it looks nice mounted and the flowers will be easier to see. I hope it is a flower spike. Will take more pictures later. Please post yours too so I can how it looks. Thanks.
