My name is Jim. I've been growing orchids for 15 years... I am the past president of the Batavia Orchid Society.. I live in a suburb of Chicago... I grow under lights in my basement.... My favorite type of orchids right now are Paphs, which make up about 1/3 of my collection... I have about 150 orchids in all. I have many photos I will post from time to time.. I am a big fan of all the orchid forums. I am married, with grandchildren, and retired from the motion picture industry.... I love gardening, ponding, and orchids.... I'm glad to be aboard...... Jim
