I will start from the beginning.
Yesterday we received a phone call my wife answered the phone and it was from my friends who own the orchid nursery as I am not well and under medication my wife said he is not available right now so the owner of the orchid nursery asked my wife to pass on a message to me to go down to there nursery today at lunch time.
I must admit they know about my mother and with me not being to well so I wondered what would they want me for hehehe I thought and thought to myself ( I wonder what they want ) hehehe
So I went down to my friends orchid nursery at lunch time today I walked into the front of the store and I was greeted by my two friends and I stood at the counter and Helen said to me we have some thing for you then she turned around I could not see what she was doing then she turned back around to me holding this very nicely gift wrapped Masdevallia in a black plastic pot placed inside another really nice pot plus the plant had a plastic spike in the sphagnum moss that held a small envelope.
she Helen placed the orchid onto the counter and I was stunned as to how pretty it all looked so I took the envelope and I opened it and took out a nice card I read the card ( Quote] To Fred With love from your fellow orchid geeks )
I had tears in my eyes as I was so amazed that my fellow orchidgeeks would do such a wonderful thing.
I thank you all for such a wonderful thought of doing this as I know it must have not been easy.
The Masdevallia that was chosen for the gift for me well let me say my friends are the only others to have this Masdevallia in Tasmania.
Peter told me that its highly awarded and its one of the best Masdevallia's.
That is when he told me I am the only other person in Tasmania to have this orchid.
so to all my family of orchidgeeks thank you for your generosity and also thank you for your support.
I feel very blessed and touched in a special way I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
No wonder I am so proud of all the members here on orchidgeeks.
