I think it is hilarious when growers from back east or midwest think 40% humidity is bone dry!
50% is the max I can obtain with humidifiers and pebble trays and that will drop considerably with summer coming. My orchids have adapted just fine and since there is nothing I can do about it I stopped messing with it.
BTW - Jenny is a bad influence on everyone.
