You're in too big a hurry. Give the plant a chance. I would not worry about lack of growth on a new Phal for about 6 months, and if distracted, which I often am by so many other plants, I probably would not take any notice unless the plant starts to go seriously down hill. Losing 1 out of 5 leaves is hardly mentionable. This plant is originally from Oak Hill, from the looks of the tag. I just picked up 5 of these at the wholesale price for our Silent Auctions (after extracting one for me) and they are smaller with 2 to 4 leaves in 2.25" pots.

Constantly moving plants from mix to mix is not good for them, and SH is a little rough on any plant at the start. Roots are rarely already adapted to SH.
