I would like to point out for anyone buying from WalMart, Home Depot, Lowes etc with these bagged orchids, that the photo is only representative of the family of orchids not what is actually in the bag.

The photo Jenny posted is what you have it may or may not match the photo on the bag with you mistakenly thought you were getting. These do grow like weeds and can fill that pot in one summer.

The black spots are a harmless virus that is impossible to eliminate on Oncidium alliance orchids. Ignore them. The light blue spots are minerals from water drying on the leaves. You can wipe them off if you desire. The yellowing leaves are going to keep happening forever. As long as you get new growth the older growth will dye away.
