I'm a N.Y. yank of Scottish descent. Welcome to the forum!The gravel inside the clay pot is probably not so necessary, as the plastic pot inside the clay pot is mainly for stability. I think the humidity tray under your plants for the most part is a good idea, but during the summer the humidity is probably quite high in Scotland (much like here in N.Y.) and maybe not as necessary. I always worry about spilling the gravel. Whatever works though is great. Happy growing and we love pictures!
