I was stationed in San Antonio in the Army (Ft. Sam Houston) many years ago.
Great place but I'm sure it's changed alot since the sixties!! |
Updated profile, Im in San Antonio on the NW side near Seaworld.
They are in the kitchen on a counter top against windows that get the eastern sun in the morning supplemented with the CFL 4 tube desk lamp with a daylight rating.
I have three Phals one is blooming as we speak and has sustained the blooms for the past month. There are some new buds appearing on the spikes that are still holding blooms. There are three spikes that are drying having lost their blooms. This is my star at the moment. Second bloom in two yrs. Now that Im writing this , this is the one that gets the most light from the lamp, along with the Den. Hope this gives some visulation albeit mental of the area.
