I grow it!
It's been a REALLY slow grower for me. Technically it's my fiance's one and only orchid, so we can blame him for it.
Ok... too bright of light will cause this thing to turn almost completely purple. Be careful with sunburn...but if it remains purple, it's fine. At least that is what I've found with mine. This one has been working on a new growth since we bought it...about 10 months ago. Actually, it's starting now starting a bloom spike from that growth, which I just noticed a few days ago. I grow it in a south-facing window with supplemental flourescent lights in coconut husk and fir back mix, gets watered once a week usually. Haven't had problems with it besides sunburn and it just being so darn slooooooooow.
