Vandas, for the most part, take huge amounts of water (every day) and light. They deal pretty well with full sun, especially if you have a terete type. Others can handle a little more shade but basically these are outdoor plants. Some bloom once a year and some more and flowers last about a month. Do a search here, you'll find everything you could possibly want to know. They don't particularly need to be potted, by the way - hang them up bare-root. And don't underestimate the amount of water they require. They're worth it when they bloom, though.
