I think he, too, meant to say do not divide.(Correct me, if I am wrong, Exasperatus) It's just a typo...We're all in favor of keeping it in one piece!! It's a really beautiful plant
On a more practical note, I see your problem. Is that pot two inches larger than the one it was previously in? While you don't want to over pot, I think you should be able to have room for at least one more year of good growth..There must be a pot sized to let you have that--Look around and let us know what you decide to do...
