Well as with all pesticides, it is toxic to animals and fish. I take it you are using the powder? It should be fine if the plants are sitting out for awhile. I don't recommend dusting and bringing them inside as soon as you are finished dusting. This is a known carcinogen (cancer causing) in rats and toxic in numerous animals as listed in the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) If you have serious doubts, stop use and find something a little more friendly. A lot of us here on the forum use Wormtea as our first defense.

I don't want to scare you so please don't feel that way. Most pesticides have this information on them and also can be found in the MSDS. Proper use and precautions is a must
