If you like the black then it is OK. But white pots may well heighten the colours of the flowers on your list of orchids. I searched for pictures of flowers on your list (on the 'net) and most of them appear to be well suited for white pots. {C. aurantianica= C.aurantiaca?]
Maybe some others will have more input on 'colour perception or colour psychology'. But if you really like black ( the colour of the universe
), go for it.
