The short answer is no, lasianthera is not a cross between Laelia and Renanthera.

To start with, Laelia and Renanthera come from different sections in the family of Orcidacea, Laelias from the Laelinae section and Renanthera from the Vandaceous section. Plants from different sections can not be crossed with one another. In short you'll never see a Laelia/Renanthera cross.

The name lasianthera is a species name. Laelia and Renanthera are generic names (genus names). The species name lasianthera comes from the Greek lasios meaning shaggy or wooly and anthera referring to the column. Dendrobium lasianthera is a member of the genus Dendrobium, not a member fo the genera Laelia or Rananthera.

Also as it is a species name, lasianthera is not capitalized. Also the word "yellow" is not part of the name and shouldn't be included as part of the name
