I agree with Cynthia. I had some of my Phals outside this summer, and even on a covered porch they got too much sun. They look just like the big, elongated area on the edge of your leaf
Not to worry though. Sunburn looks worse than it is ( I keep telling myself!) and in time the leaf will just drop off...
