A memeber of my garden club brought an Oncidium alliance orchid to the clinic this evening. The tag said: Dag. Toy Soldier 'Volcano Queen.' We divided and repotted it (I know . . . but this was meant to be a demonstration, with a disclaimer about repotting at this time of year.

At any rate, I can't ID it beyond the alliance.
I don't even know what a "Dag" is. It seems to be used as a grex name for a Cymbidium, but I can confidently say that ain't what this is. Anyone recognize this plant? -- Bill
