Oh, and what should I do in the meantime? When I repotted them 3 weeks ago, I sprinkled them with Osmocote 19-6-12. I water them thoroughly once a week.

I have 2 Phal type Dendrobiums that finished flowering in August and are
throwing up new spikes right now. These type Dens. can spike anytime, so
there really isn't necessarily a dormant period for them. If they are indeed a
spike, then continue regular watering and fertilize every other week.
