Two days without a reply, so it seems that no one has tried it.

I wonder why you want to try as you can sow cactus seeds into sand easily and cheaply. I do not see any advantage in an orchid potting mix.

If you meant the algum solution they use for starting orchid seeds I do not think that would work for cactus seeds too moist and too much food, but really do not know.
