| Appearance of Leaves on Phalaenopsis Spike Hi! I'm a new member to your wonderful website and I'm also a new orchid enthusiast.
I bought my Phalaenopsis orchid with blooms last year. After it bloomed I trimmed the spike down to the next node where it bloomed one more time. Afterwards, I trimmed it again down to the next node and now at the top of the spike it's growing leaves. What is it doing? Is it having a baby? I thought the babies usually grow from the roots of the plant. |
