Digitalgate, Phalaenopsis slow down when they get too much light. They are being stressed, which is not good for them. I would recommend that you reduce the light on your Phals and you may find that they grow faster.

The comment about not using full sun light for low humidity areas was given for the benefit of of others reading these posts.
