I found this one on one of my Phals. This one looks like a text book example of a basal keiki. I think yours as well as tizzycat's are the same.

The keikis on yours and tizzycat's seem to come from the axil(s) of the leaf. mine comes off the 'stem' of the plant.

This was a tiny growth just a couple of weeks ago. It just grew big in a short time.

There is NO way one could separate it from the mother unless some surgical technique is used.

As per all of your advice I will leave both of them together.
