| This is a baby from the roots of an orchid that died of ,possibly,crown rot. It was separatwd from a rescued Phal. from Rona (building supplies). There were two orchids in one pot and this one was almost gone and without leaves. The good one was separated and is doing well.Since there were some green roots with 'life' on the 'dying' one I just potted it into a separate pot and left it alone. I believe it was in April of this year.
The growth is coming from deep down. I have not looked below the surface yet.
There is definitely hope for your orchid, justloveorchids.
