| pikevi, you've got that magic touch when it comes to keikis on Phals. I'm betting that it will grow just fine and will find it's way with room to grow roots without getting choked.
One of my Phals is growing, what appears to be a keiki but I'm not sure? It looks like a tiny little Phal. growing on the outside of the low part of the crown. If I remember correctly, I think I read that if a keiki grows in the middle of the crown, it's curtains for the plant but I didn't know keikis grew on anything other than spikes so I'm not sure what's going on.
