I am on to my third plant. They like a drier winter but in your climate may still need a little water as they would grow for longer periods of time. My lack of success in flowering them in a worry, they should grow for me no problems in my climate which would be cooler than yours in winter.

They should flower around Spring. People grow them in the tropical north of Australia and they are lucky if they get 3 or 4 nights under 50F there.

I give mine a dry rest in winter and have started watering now it's spring. Plant doesn't look like it will ever flower. So I am interested in what others do as well.
